Welcome to BentoLao. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BentoLao mobile application and website (the "Platform"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Nature of the Service

BentoLao provides a technology platform that connects Users (customers) with:

  • Merchants: Restaurants and grocery stores.

  • Drivers/Couriers: Independent third-party providers who perform delivery services.

BentoLao does not sell food, groceries, or logistics services directly. We act as an intermediary to facilitate transactions and deliveries.

2. User Account

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information (Name, Phone Number, Address).

  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Ordering and Delivery

  • Order Acceptance: Orders are subject to availability from Merchants and the proximity of Drivers.

  • Delivery Address: You must provide a precise location. If the Driver cannot reach you after reasonable attempts, the order may be cancelled without a refund.

  • Alcohol/Tobacco: Users ordering age-restricted items must present a valid ID upon delivery.

4. Parcel Delivery (Courier Services)

When using BentoLao for sending parcels:

  • Prohibited Items: You may not send illegal items, hazardous materials, weapons, currency, or live animals.

  • Packaging: Users are responsible for ensuring items are securely packed.

  • Liability: BentoLao’s liability for lost or damaged parcels is limited to a maximum value specified in our local policy unless additional insurance was purchased.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Fees: Total prices include the cost of goods, delivery fees, and any applicable service fees or taxes in Laos.

  • Payment Methods: We accept Cash on Delivery (COD) and digital payments as integrated into the app.

  • No Refunds: Once an order is prepared by a Merchant or a delivery is in progress, refunds are generally not permitted unless there is a significant error on our part.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any fraudulent or illegal activities.

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse Drivers or Support Staff.

  • Attempt to bypass the Platform’s payment system.

7. Limitation of Liability

BentoLao is not liable for:

  • The quality or safety of food/groceries provided by Merchants.

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR).
